Longtime Alaska resident Thomas Hamilton Campbell Jr., 60, passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, in Anchorage, Alaska.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Valley Funeral Home and Crematory, 151 E. Herning Ave., Wasilla, Alaska, 99654.
Thomas was born on April 25, 1955, in Seattle, Washington. He became an Alaska resident in 1968, where he has resided in Wasilla, Houston and Anchorage.
Thomas was very proud of working for Anchorage Refuse and D&L Trucking. He enjoyed trucking and boating. He loved to run the rivers full out, with the wind blowing his hair and a big WAHOO on his lips.
Dad was an awesome driver. He was a good father. His son Ted loved going to Iron Man with him. He was my rock because he always came through. I will forever love him. ~ Love Rose
Thomas is survived by his wife, Nancy Campbell, of Anchorage, Alaska; son, Ted Campbell, of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter, Brionna Campbell, of Anchorage, Alaska; and sister, Karen Hume, of Anchorage, Alaska.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Arrangements were under the direction of Valley Funeral Home.
