Lifelong Alaskan resident Timothy (Timmer) N. Hanchett, 37, passed away in his sleep August 21, 2025 at his home on Daisy Petal, Wasilla, Alaska.
He was born to Mike and Mariellen Hanchett on May 3, 1988, in Palmer, Alaska. He was very happy, bringing joy to all that knew him. He loved being outdoors, loved animals, music and swimming. He attended Colony High until 2010.
He is survived by his parents and brother Jacob Hanchett of Wasilla.
After cremation, his ashes will be scattered by family and friends, stories told and a reception to follow, time and place TBD.
The family asks that in Lieu of flowers / food, memorial donations be made to Hope Community Services in honor of Tim Hanchett, www.hopealaska.org
