Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Trenton Michael Tunohun, 17, who had been missing since July was found on Aug. 26. He was born Sept. 25, 1991 and raised in Palmer, the son of Arron and Sarah Angol.
Trenton was a graduate of the Alaska Military Youth Academy and he had a promising future ahead of him. He was enlisted as an E-2 in the Alaska Army National Guard. Trenton enjoyed playing guitar, keyboards, skateboarding, hunting, fishing and camping. He was a loving son and brother who will be sorely missed by his family. He will stay in their memories and hearts forever.
Trenton is survived by his father, Aaron; mother, Sarah; three siblings, one nephew; grandparents and aunts.
Family and friends are invited to visitation from 3 to 7 p.m., on Sept. 18 at Valley Funeral Home, Palmer Chapel, 2020 Hemmer Rd. in Palmer. A celebration of Trenton’s life will be held at 2 p.m., on Sept. 19 at the Fairview Loop Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Wasilla-Aurora Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Valley Funeral Home and Crematory.
