Troy Raymond Keturi

Troy Raymond Keturi, age 60, passed away of natural causes September 5, 2024.

Troy was born in Fairbanks, AK on September 28, 1963. Troy graduated from Wasilla High School in 1982. He attended the University of Alaska -Fairbanks, and Portland State. Troy enjoyed and excelled in many sports in his younger days, and never missed one of his son’s hockey games. Troy was an electrical contractor in Fairbanks for many years, carrying forward his father’s business.

Troy fought to live, even though his body threw a myriad of medical issues at him. He never complained and his courage and kindness will live on in our memories.

Troy is survived by his son, Tyler Keturi of Fairbanks; Father Raymond Keturi of Snoqualmie, WA; Brother Tom (Karen) of Beaverton, OR; Aunt Lynn (Ken) Erickson of Everett, WA and Cousin Kelly Cameron of Lynnwood, WA who both helped Troy through countless health challenges over the past years; Aunt Ruth (Fritz) Green of Helena, MT; 2 Nephews and many cousins. Troy’s mother, Judy Uden Keturi, preceded him in death.

Troy loved his partner in life, Yolanda van Beek, and her children Aimee, Vasco and Ivan.

Troy will be a celebration of Troy’s life, but details are not yet decided.
