Tyler Stewart Jones

Tyler Stewart Jones, 18, passed away in Palmer April 11, 2014.

Tyler was born in Rock Springs, Wyo., on April 23, 1995. Tyler had recently moved to Alaska with his father to be closer to his Alaska family after his mother’s passing. He was full of life and had a love for the beautiful scenery of Alaska. He was excited about fishing and possibly hunting this summer. He was technologically inclined and enjoyed playing different games.

He will be missed by his family, but they believe that his mother, whom he missed, was there to greet him as he passed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbi Gene Jones of Bolivar, Mo.; grandfather, Thomas Tyler Jones; uncle, Thomas Tyler Jones Jr.; and cousin Marshall Wheelbarger.

Tyler is survived by his father, Loren Stewart Jones; brothers, Robbie Flathers, Cullen Flathers and Josh Jones; sister Kira Jones; grandparents, Donna and Bob Wheelbarger and Troy and Shirleymae Hollen; all his local Barrett family; and many other extended family members outside of Alaska.

His favorite band was “Breaking Benjamins.” It’s only appropriate to end his obituary with a line from his favorite song…. Show me how it ends…. It’s Alright. Love you!

Tyler’s family is having a private celebration to scatter ashes and share fond memories.
