Hi Friends-
How have you been, our dear fellow Alaskans? We hope you are fully enjoying a nice all Alaskan summer. So, I’m a pro-pebbler and I’m running for US Senate next year. Whoops. What I am prepared to tell you today is that, scientists do lie. So called scientists may have told you that Pebble will kill all salmons. I disagree. I don’t think a single salmon would die from Pebble.
Pebble is a speck on a big map. For a pacific salmon to reach a couple of rivers in Pebble site, it first has to come to Bristol Bay, of all places.
Then the salmon shall swim the long and winding road of Kvichak River to reach Iliamna Lake.
Then the fish shall pick and choose a couple rivers going up to Pebble site.
I mean, how many Pacific Ocean salmons would want to do that?
So we see in the news that pebble will kill salmons.
But, don’t we Alaskan humans kill salmon too?
I may be a naive person to ask you this question but, what difference does it make?
I mean, yeah, we kill and eat salmons daily. But if Pebble kills salmons, it’s poisoned salmon, we we can’t eat them. Is that why some Alaskans are against Pebble?
Yes, we Alaskans love eating salmons, I get it. But, how about 500 billion dollars? My dear fellow Alaskans, how would you like 500 billion dollars? Would you like that? Would it be okay if a couple of Alaskan salmons die from gold poisoning, copper poisoning, molybdenum poisoning? Just a couple of salmons, if any?
Yes, Pebble is worth 0.5 trillion dollars. No need to think about ugly open pit mine picture EPA people show you to scare you. We all go to bathroom and drop the dudes and discharge liquid. We flush it and forget about it. The ugliness of mining industry? Well, we all grown-up adults do know, that’s what it takes to make money. Money does not grow on a tree. You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
I’m running out of the 400 word limit of this letter to editor.
So I shall copy and paste to the 40 page long paper and say farewell to you for today.

Please enjoy the read and I apologize if I offended anyone.
Thank you, you amazing Alaskans,
