Virginia was born June 24, 1967, to Paul and Iona-mae Mahoney. She was born in Wasilla Alaska and latter moved to Dawson City Canada. There she stayed many years, she would meet her husband and have all of her kids Frank, Anthony and Peter from Dawson City Virginia and Winston took a leap of faith and landed in Gardiner, Washington.
What a good place for a gardener! Some of Virginias amazing talents brought so many people together from painting to canning and cooking, she was always doing something. Family unity was one of her most important endeavors, SHE WAS A SHAMROCK! Virginia will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Winston her children Frank, Anthony and Peter, her 6 brothers, and 5 sisters, Nieces, and nephews.
A Garden party potluck memorial will be held for her at The Mahoney family Grotto at 2 p.m. Saturday June 17. If you would favorite dish or potted plant we will be planting garden in memory.
