Vivian Williams was born on the farm in Redmond on April 16, 1940. She grew up having many adventures that kids today could only dream about.
In the early ‘80s she moved to Alaska where she lived for 34 years, Alaska became part of her. While living there she owned several successful businesses including owning and driving the Seward trolley. She loved gardening and grew many beautiful flowers. She also loved quilting and was a master of her craft. But most of all she loved her family.
Vivian passed on Saturday, July 16, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Williams; parents, Richard & Lucile Lynds; sister, Marilyn Brinton; and brother-in-law’s, Wayne Levine and Gary Brinton.
She is survived by her brother, Norman; sisters, Velma, Carla, and Sherril; 10 nieces and nephews; 19 great nieces and nephews and 3 great-great nieces. She was our favorite aunt.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1pm at Faith Christian Church in Bend, Oregon. Pastor Mark Gering has graciously accepted our request to officiate. All are invited, welcome and encouraged to attend and be with her family as we honor her on this special day.
