A Volunteer Organizational Meeting is planned at 2 p.m., Jan. 17 at the Iditarod Headquarters, Mile 2.2, Knik-Goose Bay Road in preparation for the 2015 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, which begins at 10 a.m., March 7 at the 4th Avenue and D Street in Anchorage. Come learn about volunteer opportunities, including the Anchorage start, Willow restart, communications, dog food sorting, people food sorting, phone room, sales and the Jr. Iditarod.
