Wade Collins Behm, 62, of Wasilla, passed away Sunday, January 2nd, surrounded by family and friends. Wade was born on September 9, 1959, in Punxsutawney, PA, and raised in Marchant, son of Clyde and Rose Behm. He moved to Alaska as a young man and married his wife Roberta Behm (Smith) on December 6, 1988. After being based in Alaska with the national guard, he settled in the Valley. He worked many jobs, from dishwasher to cook, logger and truck driver. For the last 20 years, Wade along with his wife, have owned and ran the family business, Happy Hooker Towing. He is survived by his wife, Roberta; his children, son, Mike and husband Eric, son Eric and wife Tracy, son, Joe and wife Britt, daughter, Kim and husband Will, his mother, Rose Behm and brother Scott and wife Linda; grandchildren, Matthew, Colin, Zoey, Lee and Evelyn. He is preceded in death by his father Clyde, brothers Sanford and Chris, son Andy and daughter Beckie. A funeral for Wade will be held on Tuesday, January 11th at United Protestant Church, 713 S. Denali St, Palmer. Viewing will be at 12:00pm, followed by a service at 1:00pm. After the service, there will be a tow truck processional to the Pioneer Cemetery for burial.
