Walter Dale Ealum, 98, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2023 at Maple Springs of Palmer in Palmer, Alaska. He was born June 20, 1924 in Arboles, Colorado. Walter married his lovely bride, Ernestine Montgomery, on October 24, 1942 in Reno, Nevada. He was a minister of the Gospel for 60 years, ordained by the Pentecostal Church of God. Walter truly loved God, his family, and the Church. Serving as a pastor and church builder in several locations, Walter and Ernestine retired from the ministry at the Pentecostal Church of God in LaPine, Oregon. He is survived by his wife, Ernestine, son, Allen Ealum (Alice), daughter, Carol Orzalli (Barry), 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, sister, Ilamay, and several nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by a loving daughter-in-law, Wilma Ealum, sister Nora, brothers: Buddy, Ury, Carl, and Tiny, and his parents, Walter and Anna Ealum. Walter was buried at Palmer Pioneer Cemetery on June 23, 2023. There will be a Celebration of Life at Real Life Church, 10697 E Palmer Wasilla Hwy, Palmer, Alaska 99645 on July 29, 2023 at 4:00 pm. Family, friends, and others are welcome. Dinner will be served after the service.
