May we never forget Wanda Lee Craig, 82. She was a special gift from God to us. She passed away May 14, 2018 at Mat-Su Regional Hospital, Alaska. A service will be held in August 2018 at Sunny Knik Chapel. Duane Guisinger will officiate. Wanda was born December 18, 1935 in Yakima, Washington to John Franklin and Maralyn Y Neil. She graduated from Monroe High School and some Bible college. Wanda moved to Alaska June 1, 1985. She always said God wanted her to share the gospel in Alaska. Many would say, how could we do without her prayers, listening ear, kindness, songs and cards? She was our prayer warrior and she opened her home to all. She enjoyed reading the Bible, pansies, Bible study groups and spending time with family and friends. Wanda is survived by her children, Janie Craig, Maralyn Ralph Simoneaux, Jody Rale Gale, David Phyllis West, Donna Keith Sprankle, Phillip Tammy Craig, El-Freida Thomas Carpenter and numerous grand and great grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Craig, son, Billy Craig, daughters, Lila Craig and Margaret Craig, grandsons, Toren Gale and Roger Craig and granddaughter, Amanda Jones.
