Palmer resident Wayne P. Carlisle died July 23, 2010. He was 64.
Wayne was born Jan. 22, 1946, in Plano, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a longtime member of the American Legion.
Wayne is survived by a son, Shance Carlisle; daughters, Stephanie and Brianna Carlisle; grandsons Tyler and Ian Carlisle; sisters Evelyn Garlett and JoNell; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and eight siblings.
A graveside service will be performed by American Legion Post 15 at 1 p.m. Aug. 4 at Pioneer Cemetery in Palmer. A celebration of life will follow at the post on Outer Springer Loop in Palmer.
