Weldon “Archie” Leckwold, passed away September 13, 2021, at the Palmer Pioneer Home in Palmer, Alaska.
Archie was born January 3, 1928 in Anchorage, Alaska. He attended Anchorage schools until 1945, when he joined the United States Navy. Archie was an Alaska resident his entire life.
He married his wife, Phyllis, on April 7, 1967. He loved to travel and fish. Archie was a funny guy and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis A Leckwold and niece, Sandy Wilcox, of Wasilla.
No services will be held for Archie. His ashes will be spread in Resurrection Bay in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Friends of Palmer Library for Children. 695 S Valley Way, Palmer, AK 99645
