Wendy Brown
Wendy Brown, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in Wasilla, Alaska. Wendy passed all too soon at the age of 58, after years of battling ALS.
Wendy was born Wendy Wynette Wisdom in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard for 26 years. While serving in the military she met her husband and lifelong best friend Kevin Brown. They married in 1986 and had one son.
Wendy took advantage of all life had to offer and accepted every challenge that came her way. Her travels took her all over the world but noted among her most memorable travel locations were Antarctica, France, and Alaska. Wendy had too many hobbies to list but frequently enjoyed Paragliding the skies of Alaska, skydiving, snowmobile four wheeling adventures, hunting and fishing. Wendy was an adventurer at heart, nothing stopped her from seeking her next thrill. After her retirement, she continued her adventures building a dream cabin in a remote location of Alaska, where she often sat to enjoy beautiful views on the lake and reflect back on her wonderful life, family, and friends.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Kevin Brown; son, Matthew Brown; granddaughter, Noelle Brown; and brother, Justin Wisdom.
