Willard E. Bridges, 80, died Aug. 20, 2013, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer.
Graveside services for Willard are at 2 p.m., Sept. 10 at Wasilla Aurora Cemetery. Tim Avritt will officiate.
Willard was born March 6, 1933.
Willard had a passion for collecting vintage model cars and trucks of the 1930s and 1950s era. He also enjoyed collecting knives and even had an artistic side, carving walking sticks out of diamond willow.
Willard was a kind man, who helped his friends when they needed it. He was a man of few words, but when he had something to say it was usually important. He was a man many respected. He will be missed by all who knew him and be remembered for his great sense of humor!
Willard is survived by his close, friends Tracy Baker, Don Asselin, and many others.
