Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Sutton resident William “Bill” Allen Trezise, 47, died July 8, 2008 at his home of natural causes.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 12 at the family’s home.
Trezise was born July 26, 1960 in Topeka, Kan. He attended college and was in the Army from 1985 to 1992.
He moved to Sutton July 1, 2003. He was a master herbalist, EMT-B, master electrician and a youth counselor. He was affiliated with the Sutton EMS, and he was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
His special interests were alternative energy inventions, natural medicine research, his children and grandchildren.
The family states, “He was intuitive, compassionate, understanding, gentle, wise and passionate.”
He was preceded in death by his grandson Tyler.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Trezise; son and daughter-in-law Larry and Kimberly Clark; daughters and son-in-laws Lynette and Darrell Jones, Amanda Allen-Sanchez and Anthony Sanchez, and Kathleen “Riley” Baker-Blydenburg and Stephen Blydenburg; seven-and-a-half grandsons; seven granddaughters; one great-grandson; parents Thomas and Jacklin Trezise; sisters Sherry Trezise and Carrie Bell; mother-in-law Maria Yandell; five nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
