Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

William Bryan “Oreo” Oryall, 21, died Jan. 30, 2013, in Palmer. He was born March 22, 1991, in Kalispell, Mont. A service was Feb. 2 at Lazy Mountain Bible Church. Ron Hammond officiated.
Honorary pallbearers were Waylon Hofer, Dustin McComas, Shannon McComas, Tanner McComas, Jason Bates, Jake Carlson, Greg Tiedway, Mike Carlson and Chris Vigdahl. He moved from Montana to Alaska in 2004. He was a member of the Lazy Mountain Bible Church. He was also a teacher for the Solid Rock Bible Camp. He liked to snowboard.
“Oreo was loved by so many great people. He will be truly missed. God has him now in his arms. Rest in peace, baby boy. We love you,” his family wrote.
Surviving are his mother, Teresa and Jim Hofer of Montana; father, Steven Oryall of Wyoming; brother, Waylon Hofer of Alaska; sisters, Shelby Mahaffey of Idaho, Samantha Oryall of Montana, Jess Speath (Hofer) of Texas and Amanda Hofer of Colorado; grandparents, JoLynn and Bill Mahaffey of Idaho; grandmother, Esther Hofer of Colorado; aunts, Holy White of Colorado, Barb Strong of Alaska and Kaylee Weeks of Hawaii; friends, Rachael and Jason Bates, Dustin, Shannon and Tanner McConas of Palmer; and numerous cousins.
Memorial donations can be made in his name to an account at Wells Fargo Bank.
The family was taken care of by Legacy Kehl’s Palmer Chapel in Palmer.
