Wasilla resident William C. “Chris” Beaty, 61, died Sept. 3, 2012, near Glacier View on the Glenn Highway, due to an all-terrain vehicle accident.
A celebration of life is planned outdoors at Grizzly Espresso on the Parks Highway and Trunk Road, (behind Gator Glass) from noon to 4 p.m., Sept. 15. A potluck will follow. Everyone is welcome.
Chris loved meeting and talking to people coming through the espresso shop and riding his ATV looking for gold in the Alaska wilderness. He was a loving son and great friend. He will be missed by all of us.
Surviving are his mother, Bobbie White of Arizona; brother, Stan Beaty of Wasilla; sister, Melanie Bosch of Anchorage; and cousin, Mike Beaty and family of Wasilla.
Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel and Crematory.
