William “Willie” Frank Aubrey, nicknamed “Wily Coyote,” 53, was one of the first citizens born in Palmer after statehood 1959. He went home to the Lord on June 9, 2013, at his home due to complications from long-term medical problems.
Willie had a passion for life. He was a gear-head who loved the outdoors, shooting and camping. Willie was well known for being a generous, extremely caring and loving man. Even at the end of his life, Willie gave a second chance at life to 10 other people through his organ donation.
He will be greatly missed and is survived by his three children, Bobby, Christina, and Korey; mother, Millicent; brothers, Ron and Mike; sister, Patricia; nieces, Georgia, Inga, Gracie; nephews, Gary, Sean, Isaac, David and Jared; and many cousins and extended family.
A celebration of life service begins at noon, June 23 at the Alpine Inn in Sutton. Family and friends are invited to bring a dish to share and a good story or memory of Willie to record as a memorial for his children honoring his life.
