Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Longtime Anchorage resident William Keith Rizer, 70, died Aug. 31, 2010, with his family by his side at his family’s cabin near Talkeetna.
A celebration of his life will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at Cornerstone Church, 10431 Brayton Dr., Anchorage.
A native of Texas, in July of 1963 Keith packed his belongings in a Chevy station wagon and drove from Texas to Alaska with his new bride, Ann. He worked beside his family to create a special gathering place in the woods that his wife, children and grandchildren will always call “Our Cabin.”
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Ann Rizer of Anchorage; daughter and son-in-law Christina and Rick Loveless of Wasilla; and grandchildren Brandolynn, Slayter, Richard, Randall, Tressa and Tiffany Loveless of Wasilla.
