William Paul Schumacher, 35, passed away at Mat Su Regional Medical Center, July 19, 2021. A service was held at noon at Kehl’s Mortuary in Palmer, Alaska.
William is in heaven with his father, Walter Paul Schumacher, and his brother, James M. Lovett.
Survived by his mother, Sonjah Schumacher; his sisters, Lettie Brickell, Margaret Kermin, Sonya Long, and Amanda Lynn; his brother, Alex Lovett; and his “Fire” sister, Jenna, from Shear Fire Design in Palmer, Alaska; and unfortunately, Sandra Nelson.
William graduated from Palmer High in 2004. He was a member of the Fire Explorers during high school. After graduation he became a firefighter and also graduated from Job Corps in 2006.
William was a kind, loving soul who loved helping people. He didn’t have a mean bone in his body. He was sweet natured and had great sense of humor. William will be missed by his family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Fireman’s Fund in Palmer, AK.
