A fourth person has tested positive for COVID 19, according to the Ketchikan Emergency Operations Center. Reports say that the person was a Ketchikan Borough employee who had recently traveled to the lower 48. This brings the total count of positive test results for COVID 19 up to four in the last week following the cargo pilot in Anchorage last Thursday and two men from Fairbanks on Monday night.

The man who tested positive in Ketchikan is an employee of the Ketchikan Gateway Borough and self-isolated upon experiencing symptoms after traveling to the Lower 48. Governor Dunleavy has announced a press conference for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As of the 12:30 update to the Department of Health and Social Services case count for COVID 19, 334 tests have been administered to Alaskans with only three positives currently listed.
