Patrick Joseph Dinneen was born on October 10,1961 in Fairbanks, AK. He suddenly passed away on February 9,2023 in Wasilla, AK. Patrick grew up in Cordova. He played basketball throughout school and graduated from Cordova High. His good friend, Jim Poor, brought him on at a young age where he was pitching fish for St. Elias seafoods as a commercial salmon fisherman. He fished on the Copper River Flats in his boat, “Ginko”. Patrick also worked out of Dutch Harbor on crab boats. In 2003, Patrick retired from commercial fishing and moved to Wasilla where he opened his business “Dinneen’s Carpentry”. Patrick became part of our lives in 2010. We got to spend the last 13 great years with him. He was such a sweet caring compassionate guy and will be missed by all that knew him.
Patrick is preceded in death by his birth mother Wythle J Gershmel, and his parents, Jack and Mary Ann Dinneen.
Patrick is one of eight siblings, Theresa, Colleen, Brian, Charlene, Bruce (Rhonda), Marietta (Ed), and Patty Jo (Jay). Patrick had several nieces and nephews and great ones.
We will be having a celebration of life in the Spring.
