Former resident of Oakhurst Ca. passed away on May 22,2019 at her home in Wasilla AK.
Teri was born June 7, 1960 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Ray and Yvonne Mains. Teri grew up in Clovis Ca., graduated from Clovis High afterwards attending at California State University Long Beach. Her free spirit has led her through many life adventures. She was a successful business owner in the Oakhurst area working with property managements. In 2005 she packed her car and set her sights on Alaska. She secured a job on the North Slope and soon moved into a management position. She enjoyed the outdoor life, camping, wildlife and of course fishing. She would often schedule her time around “the Salmon Run”. She was loved by all who met her.
Teri is survived by her two children Aviation Support Equipment Technician First Class Petty Officer Jillian Miller Gutierrez USN, spouse Jose Gutierrez Retired USN and Builder First Class Petty Officer Derrick Miller USN, spouse Ashley Miller. Grandchildren: Barrett, Charlee, Maximus, Dominic, Victoria, Mireya and Jose. Brother Dean Mains of Clovis, Ca. Nephew Luke Mains many other family and friends.
